How Do You Know About Registry Cleaner?

Thursday, April 29th, 2010

Just as you choose a file to store or save your data in Windows stores all its data in a central database called the system registry. The information that Windows needs to store in the registry includes all information about the computer hardware settings and software settings as well as all the permissions that are given to various users such as administrators, users and guests. The compute operating system continuously refers to this system registry to access programs and files and to check whether the user is allowed to add or delete whatever he is trying to.

Before trying to understand the need for a registry cleaner, it is important to understand the very basic use of the registry. Before Windows 95 windows used system INI files to store the configuration data of all the programs and users. These files were scattered all over the system making the whole operating system unstable and slow. With the introduction of Windows 95 Microsoft included a built in central database that assimilated all this information into one central database that the whole system and the programs could share and access. This speeded up the system at the same time brought with it one main drawback. It could asl0 crash the system if one glitch occurred in any program. These glitches could be removed by regular cleaning of the registry with registry cleaning software.

As one keeps using the system the registry keeps growing. Over time this data that is constantly being added to the registry gets built up to the extent that the registry becomes too big for the system to run efficiently.

Registry cleaner software enhances the performance of the PC by clearing the registry of redundant entries and broken links. The Registry Cleaner also compacts the registry by defragmenting the registry. It does this by filling in the spaces left by removing useless data with the useful data in the registry. So it would suffice to say that a registry cleaner is software that looks for and deletes outdated entries as well as deletes broken links.

Speed up Your PC with 3 Simple Steps!

Wednesday, April 28th, 2010

Have you gotten tired of your slow running PC? Well don’t kick it to the curb just yet. The biggest mistake people make with a slow computer is to immediately buy a new one.  They don’t understand that you can simple speed up PC performance on their existing computer so it runs like new.  Follow these three steps and you will not have to wonder “why is my computer so slow” ever again.

Three steps to speed up pc:

Remove unneeded startup programs.  You have potentially dozens of programs running in the background that you don’t know about.  These do nothing but suck up valuable RAM.  In order to get rid of these you must use the “MsConfig” option or simple use a program to do it for you.

Run a disk defragmenter.  Defragging your system will streamline the way computer accesses information.  It will tie up loose ends and condense the data on your computer so it runs more efficiently.  Microsoft recommends defragging your PC once a month.  You can run this feature manually or use a program to automate it.

Clean up the registry.  This is the most important step you can take to speed up PC performance.  The registry is essentially “the engine” of your computer.  When it is clogged up with junk and full of errors it will slow down your computer immensely.  I do not recommend attempting to perform this step manually.  The registry is extremely sensitive and if the wrong files are altered or removed it can cause severe damage.

For those who want to speed up their PC’s the easy way I recommend downloading a program that can automate and schedule these three steps for you.  This way you can simply set it and forget it!  You will never have to worry about a slow PC again.  Get a free scan and diagnosis Here.
