Fix Registry Problems Quickly With Registry Cleaner Software

Thursday, June 24th, 2010

Are you having registry problems such as crashing, freezing and various other errors (such as the blue screen error)? If so, stay tuned. Here we discuss one easy solution of cleaning the registry by using registry cleaners.

The registry is a large internal database that is used by Windows to find programs, open them, and properly operate them. Every program on your computer has several files associated with it in the registry. As you install or uninstall programs from your computer, the registry changes accordingly. If there was an error in the install/uninstall process, the registry may incur errors. The more errors a registry contains, the more likely you are to have a slow, error-prone computer.

There are several types of errors your registry can have: one type is called invalid error- which means that a file that used to be in one place is removed or moved to another place, but Windows does not know about it. Without the file, the program cannot open and will not operate. Another similar type of error is empty entry. Empty entries are blank files that are supposed to have instructions in them but do not. When windows tries to “read” the file, there is nothing to be read.

A third type of problems is DLL errors. DLLs are Dynamic link libraries which are a part of your registry that contains blocks of information that is commonly used by several different programs. Rather than rewriting this block in every program, DLLs are being referred to within other registry files. This saves space and time for the programmers. If a DLL file is missing or is damaged in some way though, Windows cannot open the program.

In order to fix these issues, a special type of program called registry cleaner is employed. Registry cleaners are designed to scan and eliminate the issues with minor intervention on your part. All you have to do is download a program, and scan the registry. Your cleaner will do the rest.

If you keep the registry clean, your computer will be faster and more reliable. For more information, go to the registry cleaner review website. Good luck!

Registry Repair Reviews – User Experience With Registry Repair Tool

The Problem And How I Came To Know About Registry Repair.

Last week, I had too many problems in my computer. It was frequently hanging and crashing. Since it was hanging and crashing frequently, I suspected that there might be any hardware issue. I checked my hard disk and RAM using linux live CD. It did not give any error. Now the next part was to check Windows file system. I booted from the Windows XP bootable CD, went to the rescue mode and checked the file system for errors. After file system check I rebooted my system. Well, It stops crashing but now it was giving too many dll errors on opening of some applications and performance was degraded.

I am a technical person and have a lots of knowledge in linux but when it comes to Windows I am like an ordinary person. Well, I have one of my friends, working as a system admin for Windows systems. I discussed my problem with him. He suggested that there might be an issue with Windows registry. He explained me what a registry means in technical terms. To make a long story short, registry is basically a database which contains information which are used by Windows operating system during all operations. Registry stores the information about user profiles, applications installed on the computer, types of documents each user can create and many other settings. So my friend suggested to check out registry cleaner tools. He suggested me to check out Registry Repair – a registry cleaner tool.

Actual Registry Repair Reviews Starts From Here.

Registry Repair is one of the popular registry cleaner tools available on the internet. I downloaded the Registry Repair tool and installed it on my computer. Installation is very easy like any other Windows application, just double click installer and click on next next….. Finally installation completed and I started Registry Repair tool. I was impressed withRegistry Repair at first time in terms of user experience. I mean it has very nice GUI, easy to understandable options and easily navigable buttons.

I first checked all five main navigation buttons of the software.

1) SCAN

There are three basic steps in scan process. There are many components, you can do registry scan for. You need to select the components in the first step. If you want know detailed description of the each components then just move your mouse cursor over the component name and you will find description in detailed description box. I wanted to keep all components selected so that I can fix all registry problems. Second step is to start the scan. When you click on ‘Start Scan’ button, it will start scanning through each components selected in step one. It will show you the results in step two. In the third step you actually fix the errors. If you are an advanced user and want to ignore some registry fix, you can do that also. You’ll have to manually scan all errors in the list for that.

2) SETTINGS

In this section, you will find different software settings. There are options about automatic update, automatic repair and automatic download updates. In settings, I always keep selected Create a system restore point before repairing errors. I am surprised that this option is unchecked by default. Creating a restore point puts you on safer side if in any case some thing go wrong, you always have a chance to revert back. You will find a list of all ignored registry from fixing in this ignore list section. You can also set schedule for auto scanning and repairing.

3) BACKUP

In this section, you will find a list of restored points if you have selected to restore before repairing. You can always restore to the previous state, using this restore points.

4) MANAGE STARTUP

Here you can mange start up programs. You can always enable and disable programs to run at start up time. I always prefer to disable all programs at start up time. This increases system performance a lot.

5) RESULT

In this area, you will find result report of last scan and fix errors.

First Run of Registry Repair on my Computer. Should I Buy Registry Repair?

After I became comfortable with software usage, I ran the first scanning on my computer. To my surprises, it found 942 registry errors. I tried to fix those errors but I was unable to do so. These Registry Repair marketing people are very clever. They allow the scanning but now allowing to fix the problems. For fixing problems, you need to buy Registry Repair license. I am a kind of person who checks each and every details before purchasing any thing. I contacted my friend again and told him that Registry Repair has found these much error. What should I do? Shall I purchase the license? He suggested me to purchase one. But still I wanted to do more checking on the software. I searched on the internet about Registry Repair reviews. Most of the people were happy with the software. I found some people have complaints about Registry Repair software and support but compare to good reviews they were very small. And there are always complaints about good product, no matter how good it is. Thinking this, I bought Registry Repair license and fixed the all registry errors. I rebooted the system and after that all dll errors are gone. System performance is also improved a lot. Now I am also one of the happy customers of Registry Repair.

Conclusion

Registry Repair has helped me a lot in improving my system performance and fixing some dll errors. I will suggest this software to all who are having same problems.

How Do You Know You Should Clean up Your Windows Registry?

Friday, June 4th, 2010

Has your PC been lagging recently? Are you experiencing decreased PC performance, malfunctioning programs, or freezing/crashing on your PC? Do you need to clean up your PC’s registry? Look for the signs and decide for yourself whether your PC problems are due to registry problems, and take action to help take care of your PC!

The Symptoms of Registry Problems:

There are five major signs that can tell you whether or not you need to clean up your registry.

1. The first symptom may also be caused by general use and aging of your PC, and that’s a decrease in your computer’s speed or performance. If you find your PC lagging at even the most simple tasks, taking too long to “think” about an action before actually doing it, your computer is losing performance.

2. Having problems running programs or accessing files on your PC? If program function is lacking, you’re experiencing frequent program malfunction or crashing, or if you cannot access some files on your PC (especially through shortcuts), this is another good indicator of registry problems.

3. The next, and more sure sign that your PC’s registry may need a good cleaning, is if you are having frequent problems with errors. Frequent error messages, especially those having to do with Windows system errors, DLL errors, and program malfunction errors, are good indicators of a messy or corrupt registry.

4. When the Windows system can’t recover from the previously mentioned errors, it displays a Windows blue screen that can either be resolved by system shutdown or by restoring your PC to the last known good configuration. This is a sure sign of registry problems.

5. Finally, system freezes and crashes. When your PC cannot locate a file or program source, or if it is redirected to a corrupt function, it freezes or crashes because it simply hits a dead end. System freezes and crashes almost always point to registry errors and are often harmful to your computer.

The How To on Registry Repair:

Unlike cleaning your hard drive, where manual cleaning is simple and rarely erroneous, it is highly advised against attempting to on your own unless you are extremely experienced with PCs and know exactly what you’re doing. For those of us novices who would have no clue how to go about that, have no fear: registry cleaner downloads are here to save the day!

Ranging in cost and reliability, registry cleaners all promise to do one thing: correct errors and keep your computer from malfunctioning and crashing. Utilizing a good registry cleaner will improve PC performance and speed and remove all registry errors and corrupt keys from your PC, which prevents Windows errors, program malfunction, and system freezes/crashes.

Fix Apphelp Dll Was Not Found-Missing – How to Fix This DLL Error?

Monday, May 24th, 2010

Apphelp.dll is a very important part of Windows which your system uses to help it load up programs. Unknown to many people, this file is actually extremely important in the day-to-day operations of your PC… but unfortunately, it’s also a big cause of issues for your computer. If you’re receiving “Apphelp.dll was not found” or “Apphelp.dll is missing” errors, then you might want to follow this tutorial:

Apphelp.dll errors

Apphelp.dll often posts the following type of errors:

“Apphelp.dll Not Found” “Cannot find [PATH]\apphelp.dll” “The file apphelp.dll is missing.”
These errors are commonly posted when Windows boots up, shuts down or if you are trying to install a program onto your PC. Fortunately, they are very easy to fix by following the instructions below:

How to fix these errors

To fix the apphelp.dll errors on your computer, you should first try replacing your current apphelp.dll file with a new version of it. This is done by first downloading a new version of the file from the Internet and then placing it on your desktop. Then you should browse to C:\Windows\System32 and locate your current version of apphelp.dll. You should then rename this file to apphelpBACKUP.dll and put your new apphelp.dll into the folder. This will give you a backup of the file in case anything should go wrong. After that, restart your PC and see what happens.

If the error still appears, then you might want to think about reinstalling Windows. Normally, we would recommend reinstalling a particular program that’s causing the errors, but since apphelp.dll is a Windows file, then it’s best to repair the Windows installation in order to make sure a good copy of the file is placed on your PC. There are various ways to do this and to find out how – you should look for “how to perform a [[your Windows version]] repair install” on Google. Performing a repair install will just give your system new files and will not remove any of your settings or important files.

You should then use an antivirus program to remove any viruses from your computer. It’s often the case that a virus will infect various DLL files and make them unreadable on your computer. This is a very common issue which can be fixed by using an antivirus program to scan through your PC and fix any of the infections that could be in there.

On top of all this, you should also look at using a registry cleaner to fix any of the damaged or invalid “DLL Path References” inside the registry. The registry is basically a big database which stores information and settings for your computer. It’s a vital part of Windows because it stores a list of all the DLL files on your system, allowing your system and all your programs to read the files they need. Unfortunately, this list often becomes damaged, making Windows unable to read the files it requires, causing the errors. You can use a “registry cleaner” to scan through the registry and fix any of the damaged references that it has inside.

A Computer Program To Clean Dll Errors

Monday, May 24th, 2010

The best computer program to clean dll errors is a registry repair program. This software will perform a free scan of your computer and check to see what, if any, errors you have, including dll errors. But first, let’s look at what causes dll errors.

Dll (or Dynamic Link Library) is a set of static or dynamic links your computer uses to run its software. A static link is a link that does not change and a dynamic link is one that is only used for specific purposes, and generated right then. If there is a problem with one of these links, a program on your computer will have a problem when trying to start up.

The reasons these dll files get errors in them normally happens when you install additional software on your computer. The new software will install its dll files right over the top of your existing dll file. Many programs will share a dll file. So, if you install software that uses an older version of the dll file, it will cause the dll computer errors you are getting.

A registry repair software is a program which will look at those situations where you have dll errors and fix them for you. No need to worry about trying to find these guys yourself. Let the software run its scan, find all of the errors, and fix them right away. This will get rid of the dll errors.

By using a registry repair software, you are getting the best computer program to clean dll errors. It is fast, efficient, and very simple to use. Then, just continue to use the registry software on a weekly basis to keep your computer updated, and free of errors.

Reason For Mshtml.dll Error Message – How to Fix Mshtml.dll Error?

Monday, May 24th, 2010

Mshtml dll errors on your PC can be frustrating, as they usually occur when attempting to access a website. Usually you will notice a extreme slowdown in load times, interrupted by periods of freezing for no apparent reason, and finally your system relinquishes to a blue screen and displays the error message notating fault with the mshtml.dll. The mshtml.dll file is required by Internet Explorer to render the web pages.

Reasons for Error

First, it is important to note that all dll system errors are rooted in the same issues. The dll is the abbreviation for the Dynamic Link Library, and these files are those which are shared by all computer programs. Through installing and uninstalling of programs, in addition to visiting unsecure websites on the internet, the locations of the dll files sometimes get inadvertently changed. A specific reason for a mshtml dll error may be installation of a version that is incompatible with the version of internet explorer that your system is running. Your computer then runs slowly as it scans obscure areas of the systems in attempt to locate the required dll files, sometimes resulting in failure and crashing of the system.

Detection and Repair

Since dll errors are not caused or related to viruses or spyware, they are therefore not able to be detected by anti-virus programs. Also, there is rarely only one dll error. Mshtml.dll is installed on your PC with hundreds of other dlls, and reinstallation of the mshtml.dll will typically result in notification of the next sequential dll error. The extent of the errors can be limitless. Furthermore, if you choose to attempt repair on your own through reinstallation of the missing or corrupted dll file, you will be required to update the dll location on the registry, which Microsoft strongly discourages, as it is a complex process and one error in registry can cause permanent damage to your operating system. Certified PC techs also silently refuse to make registry updates, but instead will charge the end user to have them run registry cleaning software which is available to the public.

What is Vpmsece4 Dll Error and How to Fix It

Monday, May 24th, 2010

Vpmsece4.dll is a file that Symantec Antivirus uses when it’s used as an “add-on” for Outlook. The only problem is that this file is often damaged and unreadable, causing your computer to post such errors as “Unable to load Vpmsece4.dll” or “Vpmsece4.dll is unreadable”.

There are a few causes of the Vpmsece4.dll error which are common inside Windows. These causes include the Vpmsece4.dll being damaged, the Extend.dat file being corrupted and the Symantec Antivirus add-on for Outlook being corrupted as well.

The first step to fixing the Vpmsece4.dll error is to remove the Symantec Antivirus add-on from Outlook. To do this, load up Outlook, click on the “Tools” button at the top of the Window and then onto the “Options” button. You should then click on the “Advanced Options tab ” and then on the “Add-ons Manager” button. This will bring up the add-ons manager where you should be able to remove the Symantec Antivirus add-on from your installation of Outlook. Once you’ve done that, exit Outlook and load it again. The error should have gone… but if it hasn’t, then you should then try to remove Extend.dat from your system.

The next step (if step 1 was unsuccessful) is to search through your PC and remove any instances of Extend.dat that are on there. This is a file used by Outlook to store information about the various Vpmsece4.dll files that are on your PC and can cause the error you’re seeing. To remove these files from your PC, you should first click on Start > Search. This will bring up the search box where you can then type in “Extend.dat”. This will then look for this file on your system, where you can then remove it from the search Window. After you’ve done that, restart your PC and see if the error has disappeared.

If the error has not gone yet, you should then try using a “registry cleaner” to scan through your system and remove any of the damaged or corrupted Dll Path References that are likely in there. DLL Path References are basically locations inside Windows that tell the system where various DLL files are stored. It’s often the case that paths to the Vpmsece4.dll file are corrupted, making it advisable that you should use a ‘registry cleaner’ to fix them. Registry cleaners are software programs which can look though all the DLL path references and remove any of the damaged or corrupt settings that are in your system, eliminating the error from your PC.
