Fix Apphelp Dll Was Not Found-Missing – How to Fix This DLL Error?
Monday, May 24th, 2010
Apphelp.dll is a very important part of Windows which your system uses to help it load up programs. Unknown to many people, this file is actually extremely important in the day-to-day operations of your PC… but unfortunately, it’s also a big cause of issues for your computer. If you’re receiving “Apphelp.dll was not found” or “Apphelp.dll is missing” errors, then you might want to follow this tutorial:
Apphelp.dll errors
Apphelp.dll often posts the following type of errors:
“Apphelp.dll Not Found” “Cannot find [PATH]\apphelp.dll” “The file apphelp.dll is missing.”
These errors are commonly posted when Windows boots up, shuts down or if you are trying to install a program onto your PC. Fortunately, they are very easy to fix by following the instructions below:
How to fix these errors
To fix the apphelp.dll errors on your computer, you should first try replacing your current apphelp.dll file with a new version of it. This is done by first downloading a new version of the file from the Internet and then placing it on your desktop. Then you should browse to C:\Windows\System32 and locate your current version of apphelp.dll. You should then rename this file to apphelpBACKUP.dll and put your new apphelp.dll into the folder. This will give you a backup of the file in case anything should go wrong. After that, restart your PC and see what happens.
If the error still appears, then you might want to think about reinstalling Windows. Normally, we would recommend reinstalling a particular program that’s causing the errors, but since apphelp.dll is a Windows file, then it’s best to repair the Windows installation in order to make sure a good copy of the file is placed on your PC. There are various ways to do this and to find out how – you should look for “how to perform a [[your Windows version]] repair install” on Google. Performing a repair install will just give your system new files and will not remove any of your settings or important files.
You should then use an antivirus program to remove any viruses from your computer. It’s often the case that a virus will infect various DLL files and make them unreadable on your computer. This is a very common issue which can be fixed by using an antivirus program to scan through your PC and fix any of the infections that could be in there.
On top of all this, you should also look at using a registry cleaner to fix any of the damaged or invalid “DLL Path References” inside the registry. The registry is basically a big database which stores information and settings for your computer. It’s a vital part of Windows because it stores a list of all the DLL files on your system, allowing your system and all your programs to read the files they need. Unfortunately, this list often becomes damaged, making Windows unable to read the files it requires, causing the errors. You can use a “registry cleaner” to scan through the registry and fix any of the damaged references that it has inside.

Monday, May 24th, 2010
The best computer program to clean dll errors is a registry repair program. This software will perform a free scan of your computer and check to see what, if any, errors you have, including dll errors. But first, let’s look at what causes dll errors.
Dll (or Dynamic Link Library) is a set of static or dynamic links your computer uses to run its software. A static link is a link that does not change and a dynamic link is one that is only used for specific purposes, and generated right then. Reason For Mshtml.dll Error Message – How to Fix Mshtml.dll Error?
Monday, May 24th, 2010
Mshtml dll errors on your PC can be frustrating, as they usually occur when attempting to access a website. Usually you will notice a extreme slowdown in load times, interrupted by periods of freezing for no apparent reason, and finally your system relinquishes to a blue screen and displays the error message notating fault with the mshtml.dll. The mshtml.dll file is required by Internet Explorer to render the web pages.
Reasons for Error
First, it is important to note that all dll system errors are rooted in the same issues. The dll is the abbreviation for the Dynamic Link Library, and these files are those which are shared by all computer programs. Through installing and uninstalling of programs, in addition to visiting unsecure websites on the internet, the locations of the dll files sometimes get inadvertently changed. A specific reason for a mshtml dll error may be installation of a version that is incompatible with the version of internet explorer that your system is running. Your computer then runs slowly as it scans obscure areas of the systems in attempt to locate the required dll files, sometimes resulting in failure and crashing of the system.
Since dll errors are not caused or related to viruses or spyware, they are therefore not able to be detected by anti-virus programs. Also, there is rarely only one dll error. Mshtml.dll is installed on your PC with hundreds of other dlls, and reinstallation of the mshtml.dll will typically result in notification of the next sequential dll error. The extent of the errors can be limitless. Furthermore, if you choose to attempt repair on your own through reinstallation of the missing or corrupted dll file, you will be required to update the dll location on the registry, which Microsoft strongly discourages, as it is a complex process and one error in registry can cause permanent damage to your operating system. Certified PC techs also silently refuse to make registry updates, but instead will charge the end user to have them run registry cleaning software which is available to the public.

Repair DLL Errors – How to Fix DLL Errors Easily on Your Computer?
Monday, May 24th, 2010
DLL Errors are one of the most common and annoying errors that can affect a Windows computer. Not only do these errors prevent you from being able to do your work, but they can stop you playing games and browsing the Internet. Fortunately, there’s a simple method to fix these errors for good.
DLL errors are caused by.dll files which are resident files inside Windows. The “DLL” part of the file stands for “Dynamic Link Library” and is what your computer uses to provide programs with a series of system-wide features and functions. They are created to provide software developers with a common ‘library’ of information and functions that they can use to make their programs more streamlined and effective. For example, the top right hand minimize & exit buttons inside Windows are all created with DLLs, ensuring that every program has the same format and layout.
These files are vital for the smooth operation of Windows and are used every day. However, they are also the source of “.dll errors” which are caused by these files being unable to be used as Windows would like to. Whenever you use programs, Windows wants to open and read a series of these files to help it run. However, if it cannot read or is unable to find the DLL file it needs, it’s going to throw up an error.
DLL errors are caused by 4 main issues – 1) faulty or corrupt applications, 2) spyware / virus infections, 3) damaged hardware & 4) registry issues. Most of the time, these errors can be fixed by going through a method which fixes each of these causes, such as this:
- Reinstall any application that won’t start because of the DLL error Replace any missing / faulty DLL file Perform an antivirus / antispyware check Check all hardware is working fine Clean out the registry in case any errors are inside it
This is the basic method to remove 99% of DLL errors from your system. However, in order to get the best results, you should use the complete tutorial that we have on our website. This will show you the files and programs that will best get rid of these errors for good.

DLL Error Fix – An Easy Solution to Solve DLL Errors
Monday, May 24th, 2010
DLL errors are one of the most common problems for Windows computers and are extremely annoying. They have been an issue on Windows for as long as the system has been released, and in order to fix the problem, there’s a simple trick that you can do.
The way to fix DLL errors is to fix the parts of Windows that are causing the problem. DLL files stand for “Dynamic Link Libraries” and are basically small files which contain a series of instructions that many different programs can use. These files were introduced in Windows ‘98 to prevent programs from taking up too much hard drive space by putting all the common functions into these.dll files.
Every program you use on Windows uses DLL reference files to help them run. One of the best examples of these files in action is the functions it takes to help a program connect to the Internet. All the chat programs you have, like Skype, AIM and MSN all rely on certain .dll files to help them connect to the web, and the reason why.dll errors are caused it because many of the files these programs need can become damaged, corrupted or lost.
The problem you are seeing is that whenever you want to use a program, it’s needs to use various DLL files in order for it to run. And unfortunately, Windows has a habit of replacing these files with older versions or just losing the files, making them unable to be loaded. This causes your PC to become unable to read the files it needs, slowing it down and making it have various .DLL errors. Fortunately, there’s a way to fix this by fixing the links that windows has with these files.
To fix DLL errors, you need to fix the corrupt file and the references that Windows has to that file. And this is all done with a ‘registry cleaner’ which is a software tool that scans through the system files of Windows and fixes all of the damaged files that are inside it. These tools work very well to fix DLL errors as they replace all the outdated DLL files with fresh ones and correct the paths that Windows has to the files. You can download these tools off the Internet and allow them to clean through your PC. They will show you the number of errors that are inside it and allow you to fix them automatically.

What is Vpmsece4 Dll Error and How to Fix It
Monday, May 24th, 2010
Vpmsece4.dll is a file that Symantec Antivirus uses when it’s used as an “add-on” for Outlook. The only problem is that this file is often damaged and unreadable, causing your computer to post such errors as “Unable to load Vpmsece4.dll” or “Vpmsece4.dll is unreadable”.
There are a few causes of the Vpmsece4.dll error which are common inside Windows. These causes include the Vpmsece4.dll being damaged, the Extend.dat file being corrupted and the Symantec Antivirus add-on for Outlook being corrupted as well.
The first step to fixing the Vpmsece4.dll error is to remove the Symantec Antivirus add-on from Outlook. To do this, load up Outlook, click on the “Tools” button at the top of the Window and then onto the “Options” button. You should then click on the “Advanced Options tab ” and then on the “Add-ons Manager” button. This will bring up the add-ons manager where you should be able to remove the Symantec Antivirus add-on from your installation of Outlook. Once you’ve done that, exit Outlook and load it again. The error should have gone… but if it hasn’t, then you should then try to remove Extend.dat from your system.
The next step (if step 1 was unsuccessful) is to search through your PC and remove any instances of Extend.dat that are on there. This is a file used by Outlook to store information about the various Vpmsece4.dll files that are on your PC and can cause the error you’re seeing. To remove these files from your PC, you should first click on Start > Search. This will bring up the search box where you can then type in “Extend.dat”. This will then look for this file on your system, where you can then remove it from the search Window. After you’ve done that, restart your PC and see if the error has disappeared.
If the error has not gone yet, you should then try using a “registry cleaner” to scan through your system and remove any of the damaged or corrupted Dll Path References that are likely in there. DLL Path References are basically locations inside Windows that tell the system where various DLL files are stored. It’s often the case that paths to the Vpmsece4.dll file are corrupted, making it advisable that you should use a ‘registry cleaner’ to fix them. Registry cleaners are software programs which can look though all the DLL path references and remove any of the damaged or corrupt settings that are in your system, eliminating the error from your PC.

Several Steps to Help You Resolve Msacm32 Dll Errors on Your PC
Monday, May 24th, 2010
Msacm32.dll is a (Microsoft Audio Compression Manager) file that Windows uses to read various compressed music & audio programs. Not many people realize this, but there’s an issue in that many computers end up getting a large number of errors from this msacm32.dll file, which you need to be able to fix if your computer is going to run as smoothly and reliably as possible.
The typical errors that appear thanks to Msacm32.dll include:
“Msacm32.dll is missing on this system”"Msacm32.dll was not found on this system”"Application failed to start because msacm32.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix the error.”
How To Fix Msacm32.dll Errors
1) You should first attempt to fix the standard Windows system settings that your computer needs to run. To do this, you can use an in-built feature called “sfc” inside the Windows command prompt to basically refresh all the dll files on your PC and make them like new. This is the most effective way to resolve the msacm32.dll error.
2) If step 1 fails to work, you should then look at replacing the msacm32.dll file yourself on your system. This can be done relatively easily by first downloading this file from the Internet and then putting it into the C:\Windows\System32 folder. This will replace the file and prevent any of the “missing” or “corrupt” errors from appearing.
3) You should also look to clean out any viruses that you might have on your system. Viruses are a big problem for Windows as they continually infect your computer and then make any of the.dll files you have corrupt or damaged. You should use an antivirus program to scan through your PC and remove any of the infections that are inside it.
4) Finally, you will also want to scan through your computer with a “registry cleaner”. These are tools which scan through the registry database of Windows and fix any of the damaged or corrupt settings that are inside it. Hardly anyone knows about this, but the registry is actually a big part of the many DLL errors that Windows gets – as it contains a large list of all the DLL files on your PC. Unfortunately, this list is constantly being damaged & corrupted, leading your computer to be unable to read the files it needs, leading to the mscam32.dll & other dll errors you might see. To fix this, it’s recommended you use a ‘registry cleaner’ to scan through your PC and fix any of the damaged or corrupted settings that are inside it.
