There are many registry cleaners available in the market today and one of the best is registry-easy; hence, we shall make a registry easy review to evaluate what makes this product as one of the most downloaded software in the market for cleaning the registry and optimizing the performance of your computer.
When choosing the best product to clean your registry and optimize your computer, one of the most important factors to look for are those which have greater capacity to perform comprehensive scan and identify the most number of error definitions which other registry-cleaners could not identify. How Registry Cleaners Help Protect Your PC and Everything Stored In It
Sunday, August 8th, 2010
We use our personal computers day in and day out in almost every aspect of our lives. Indeed, working, playing, getting in touch with friends and even shopping can be done right in the comforts of our homes thanks to our PCs and (hopefully fast) Internet connections.
However, for something we rely on heavily each day, the PC is one of the things we take so easily for granted. Think about it – how many of you spend even just a couple of minutes dusting off your PC? Is it any wonder then that your PC starts to show wear-and-tear symptoms such as the following?
Applications – that used to work just fine – are launching extremely slow.Windows error messages (e.g., DLL errors, uninstaller errors, ActiveX errors, JavaScript errors, etc.) are appearing more often that they used to.The PC ‘freezes’ for no apparent reason so that you have to reboot several times each day.You start experiencing (yikes!) PC system crashes. You get the dreaded ‘blue screen’ on your monitor.
No doubt about it. There are plenty of ways you can optimize your PC to prevent the above PC problems from occurring and one of them is an often neglected tool – the registry cleaner.
What is a Registry Cleaner?
Your Windows registry is the proverbial ‘logbook’ of your PC. It notes down (registers) anything and everything happening on your the PC (e.g., list of users, user settings, applications installed on the PC, programs being used, etc., etc.). Since you do so many things on your PC each day, the Windows registry easily gets bogged down. If you are online most of the time (as most of us are), your PC is probably infected with adware and spyware without you even realizing it!
A registry cleaner is a utility that scans your Windows registry and logs which entries are either obsolete, damaged or, to put it simply… anything that shouldn’t be there! If you do not remove these unnecessary entries, your PC will slow down because the Windows registry is carrying too much data it does not even need. Furthermore, if your PC does have malware, then you are more prone to hacker attacks, id theft, and all the other tech diseases that plague our world today.
Moral lesson of the story? Running a registry cleaner = a clean Windows registry = a better performing PC!
What You Should Look for in a Registry Cleaner
Ok, I admit, not all registry cleaners are created equal. So when you start your search for one, check if the product has the following features:
Automatic scan. This facilitates the Windows registry scan. This is the easiest way to clean the Windows registry and is well suited for beginners or non-technical users.
Custom scans. This feature enables you to customize the search that is performed on the registry, allowing you to search for certain types of errors. For example, if you are specifically bothered lately by DLL-related errors, then customize the scan to look for just that.
Manual cleanup. Many are scared that registry cleaners will simply wipe out entries in the Windows registry, causing applications to not function properly after the scan. If you feel the same way, ensure that the Windows registry cleaner you are thinking of buying has a Manual Cleanup feature. This way, it’s up to YOU to select the entries to fix after the cleaner provides all the necessary information.
Backup and undo. Still worried about incorrect or accidental deletions or fixes in the registry? Remove this fear by purchasing a cleaner that has Backup and Undo features. This way, you can simply cancel a previous fix or completely go back to the Windows registry as it was before the scan!
Scheduler. The best way to ensure the good health of your PC is to ensure that maintenance habits such as running a registry cleaner are performed regularly. But why bother with Notes, To Do lists, and Reminders? If the registry cleaner has a Scheduler feature, then all you have to do is set it once and your PC will get its regular checkups without fail.
Easy-to-use interface. There is nothing better than a piece of software designed for YOU. No matter how effective a registry cleaner is, if you can’t figure out how to use it, it won’t do you any good. Period.
I hope that my tips above point you in the right direction when purchasing registry cleaner software, which in my opinion is one of the most under-utilized method of ensuring that your PC works at optimum levels. Remember, you bought that PC and now it holds a lot of personal and valuable information… TAKE CARE OF IT!

Sunday, July 25th, 2010
Registry problem as you use your computer for many different reasons. For the most part the same common problems arise over and over and luckily there is a solution to them all.
So what are the common registry problems?
A bloated registry – As programs are installed and uninstalled, glitches, duplicate entries, and moved files the registry can become bloated. Bloating can slow down the computer. The bigger this database becomes in general the slower the computer is going to be.
Duplicate entries – Sometimes there are keys that are duplicated. This might happen because of an update that didn’t edit the registry properly. This could be caused by changed the setting in a program but not shutting down properly. These duplicated entries can conflict with each other.
ActiveX and dll errors – There can be errors in the registry which will cause error messages warning about an ActiveX error or missing dll file. These can be seen during startup, when opening applications, or when using Internet Explorer.
Remnants of viruses and malware – Sometimes these malicious programs have got into the registry keys and need to be cleaned out. At times spyware and virus programs can’t get all this information out of your system. Be sure to run a virus and malware scan to make sure that this isn’t happening.
The solution to registry problems – Many common issues can be fixed with a registry cleaning software. A cleaner can scan the system for errors and help fix them removing the error messages and speeding up the computer.

Fix Registry Problems Quickly With Registry Cleaner Software
Thursday, June 24th, 2010
Are you having registry problems such as crashing, freezing and various other errors (such as the blue screen error)? If so, stay tuned. Here we discuss one easy solution of cleaning the registry by using registry cleaners.
The registry is a large internal database that is used by Windows to find programs, open them, and properly operate them. Every program on your computer has several files associated with it in the registry. As you install or uninstall programs from your computer, the registry changes accordingly. If there was an error in the install/uninstall process, the registry may incur errors. The more errors a registry contains, the more likely you are to have a slow, error-prone computer.
There are several types of errors your registry can have: one type is called invalid error- which means that a file that used to be in one place is removed or moved to another place, but Windows does not know about it. Without the file, the program cannot open and will not operate. Another similar type of error is empty entry. Empty entries are blank files that are supposed to have instructions in them but do not. When windows tries to “read” the file, there is nothing to be read.
A third type of problems is DLL errors. DLLs are Dynamic link libraries which are a part of your registry that contains blocks of information that is commonly used by several different programs. Rather than rewriting this block in every program, DLLs are being referred to within other registry files. This saves space and time for the programmers. If a DLL file is missing or is damaged in some way though, Windows cannot open the program.
In order to fix these issues, a special type of program called registry cleaner is employed. Registry cleaners are designed to scan and eliminate the issues with minor intervention on your part. All you have to do is download a program, and scan the registry. Your cleaner will do the rest.
If you keep the registry clean, your computer will be faster and more reliable. For more information, go to the registry cleaner review website. Good luck!

Registry Repair Reviews – User Experience With Registry Repair Tool

The Problem And How I Came To Know About Registry Repair.
Last week, I had too many problems in my computer. It was frequently hanging and crashing. Since it was hanging and crashing frequently, I suspected that there might be any hardware issue. I checked my hard disk and RAM using linux live CD. It did not give any error. Now the next part was to check Windows file system. I booted from the Windows XP bootable CD, went to the rescue mode and checked the file system for errors. After file system check I rebooted my system. Well, It stops crashing but now it was giving too many dll errors on opening of some applications and performance was degraded.
I am a technical person and have a lots of knowledge in linux but when it comes to Windows I am like an ordinary person. Well, I have one of my friends, working as a system admin for Windows systems. I discussed my problem with him. He suggested that there might be an issue with Windows registry. He explained me what a registry means in technical terms. To make a long story short, registry is basically a database which contains information which are used by Windows operating system during all operations. Registry stores the information about user profiles, applications installed on the computer, types of documents each user can create and many other settings. So my friend suggested to check out registry cleaner tools. He suggested me to check out Registry Repair – a registry cleaner tool.
Registry Repair is one of the popular registry cleaner tools available on the internet. I downloaded the Registry Repair tool and installed it on my computer. Installation is very easy like any other Windows application, just double click installer and click on next next….. Finally installation completed and I started Registry Repair tool. I was impressed withRegistry Repair at first time in terms of user experience. I mean it has very nice GUI, easy to understandable options and easily navigable buttons.
I first checked all five main navigation buttons of the software.
1) SCAN
There are three basic steps in scan process. There are many components, you can do registry scan for. You need to select the components in the first step. If you want know detailed description of the each components then just move your mouse cursor over the component name and you will find description in detailed description box. I wanted to keep all components selected so that I can fix all registry problems. Second step is to start the scan. When you click on ‘Start Scan’ button, it will start scanning through each components selected in step one. It will show you the results in step two. In the third step you actually fix the errors. If you are an advanced user and want to ignore some registry fix, you can do that also. You’ll have to manually scan all errors in the list for that.
2) SETTINGS
In this section, you will find different software settings. There are options about automatic update, automatic repair and automatic download updates. In settings, I always keep selected Create a system restore point before repairing errors. I am surprised that this option is unchecked by default. Creating a restore point puts you on safer side if in any case some thing go wrong, you always have a chance to revert back. You will find a list of all ignored registry from fixing in this ignore list section. You can also set schedule for auto scanning and repairing.
3) BACKUP
In this section, you will find a list of restored points if you have selected to restore before repairing. You can always restore to the previous state, using this restore points.
4) MANAGE STARTUP
Here you can mange start up programs. You can always enable and disable programs to run at start up time. I always prefer to disable all programs at start up time. This increases system performance a lot.
5) RESULT
In this area, you will find result report of last scan and fix errors.
After I became comfortable with software usage, I ran the first scanning on my computer. To my surprises, it found 942 registry errors. I tried to fix those errors but I was unable to do so. These Registry Repair marketing people are very clever. They allow the scanning but now allowing to fix the problems. For fixing problems, you need to buy Registry Repair license. I am a kind of person who checks each and every details before purchasing any thing. I contacted my friend again and told him that Registry Repair has found these much error. What should I do? Shall I purchase the license? He suggested me to purchase one. But still I wanted to do more checking on the software. I searched on the internet about Registry Repair reviews. Most of the people were happy with the software. I found some people have complaints about Registry Repair software and support but compare to good reviews they were very small. And there are always complaints about good product, no matter how good it is. Thinking this, I bought Registry Repair license and fixed the all registry errors. I rebooted the system and after that all dll errors are gone. System performance is also improved a lot. Now I am also one of the happy customers of Registry Repair.
Conclusion
Registry Repair has helped me a lot in improving my system performance and fixing some dll errors. I will suggest this software to all who are having same problems.
