DLL Error Fix – An Easy Solution to Solve DLL Errors

Monday, May 24th, 2010

DLL errors are one of the most common problems for Windows computers and are extremely annoying. They have been an issue on Windows for as long as the system has been released, and in order to fix the problem, there’s a simple trick that you can do.

The way to fix DLL errors is to fix the parts of Windows that are causing the problem. DLL files stand for “Dynamic Link Libraries” and are basically small files which contain a series of instructions that many different programs can use. These files were introduced in Windows ‘98 to prevent programs from taking up too much hard drive space by putting all the common functions into these.dll files.

Every program you use on Windows uses DLL reference files to help them run. One of the best examples of these files in action is the functions it takes to help a program connect to the Internet. All the chat programs you have, like Skype, AIM and MSN all rely on certain .dll files to help them connect to the web, and the reason why.dll errors are caused it because many of the files these programs need can become damaged, corrupted or lost.

The problem you are seeing is that whenever you want to use a program, it’s needs to use various DLL files in order for it to run. And unfortunately, Windows has a habit of replacing these files with older versions or just losing the files, making them unable to be loaded. This causes your PC to become unable to read the files it needs, slowing it down and making it have various .DLL errors. Fortunately, there’s a way to fix this by fixing the links that windows has with these files.

To fix DLL errors, you need to fix the corrupt file and the references that Windows has to that file. And this is all done with a ‘registry cleaner’ which is a software tool that scans through the system files of Windows and fixes all of the damaged files that are inside it. These tools work very well to fix DLL errors as they replace all the outdated DLL files with fresh ones and correct the paths that Windows has to the files. You can download these tools off the Internet and allow them to clean through your PC. They will show you the number of errors that are inside it and allow you to fix them automatically.

What is Vpmsece4 Dll Error and How to Fix It

Monday, May 24th, 2010

Vpmsece4.dll is a file that Symantec Antivirus uses when it’s used as an “add-on” for Outlook. The only problem is that this file is often damaged and unreadable, causing your computer to post such errors as “Unable to load Vpmsece4.dll” or “Vpmsece4.dll is unreadable”.

There are a few causes of the Vpmsece4.dll error which are common inside Windows. These causes include the Vpmsece4.dll being damaged, the Extend.dat file being corrupted and the Symantec Antivirus add-on for Outlook being corrupted as well.

The first step to fixing the Vpmsece4.dll error is to remove the Symantec Antivirus add-on from Outlook. To do this, load up Outlook, click on the “Tools” button at the top of the Window and then onto the “Options” button. You should then click on the “Advanced Options tab ” and then on the “Add-ons Manager” button. This will bring up the add-ons manager where you should be able to remove the Symantec Antivirus add-on from your installation of Outlook. Once you’ve done that, exit Outlook and load it again. The error should have gone… but if it hasn’t, then you should then try to remove Extend.dat from your system.

The next step (if step 1 was unsuccessful) is to search through your PC and remove any instances of Extend.dat that are on there. This is a file used by Outlook to store information about the various Vpmsece4.dll files that are on your PC and can cause the error you’re seeing. To remove these files from your PC, you should first click on Start > Search. This will bring up the search box where you can then type in “Extend.dat”. This will then look for this file on your system, where you can then remove it from the search Window. After you’ve done that, restart your PC and see if the error has disappeared.

If the error has not gone yet, you should then try using a “registry cleaner” to scan through your system and remove any of the damaged or corrupted Dll Path References that are likely in there. DLL Path References are basically locations inside Windows that tell the system where various DLL files are stored. It’s often the case that paths to the Vpmsece4.dll file are corrupted, making it advisable that you should use a ‘registry cleaner’ to fix them. Registry cleaners are software programs which can look though all the DLL path references and remove any of the damaged or corrupt settings that are in your system, eliminating the error from your PC.

Several Steps to Help You Resolve Msacm32 Dll Errors on Your PC

Monday, May 24th, 2010

Msacm32.dll is a (Microsoft Audio Compression Manager) file that Windows uses to read various compressed music & audio programs. Not many people realize this, but there’s an issue in that many computers end up getting a large number of errors from this msacm32.dll file, which you need to be able to fix if your computer is going to run as smoothly and reliably as possible.

The typical errors that appear thanks to Msacm32.dll include:

“Msacm32.dll is missing on this system”"Msacm32.dll was not found on this system”"Application failed to start because msacm32.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix the error.”

How To Fix Msacm32.dll Errors

1) You should first attempt to fix the standard Windows system settings that your computer needs to run. To do this, you can use an in-built feature called “sfc” inside the Windows command prompt to basically refresh all the dll files on your PC and make them like new. This is the most effective way to resolve the msacm32.dll error.

2) If step 1 fails to work, you should then look at replacing the msacm32.dll file yourself on your system. This can be done relatively easily by first downloading this file from the Internet and then putting it into the C:\Windows\System32 folder. This will replace the file and prevent any of the “missing” or “corrupt” errors from appearing.

3) You should also look to clean out any viruses that you might have on your system. Viruses are a big problem for Windows as they continually infect your computer and then make any of the.dll files you have corrupt or damaged. You should use an antivirus program to scan through your PC and remove any of the infections that are inside it.

4) Finally, you will also want to scan through your computer with a “registry cleaner”. These are tools which scan through the registry database of Windows and fix any of the damaged or corrupt settings that are inside it. Hardly anyone knows about this, but the registry is actually a big part of the many DLL errors that Windows gets – as it contains a large list of all the DLL files on your PC. Unfortunately, this list is constantly being damaged & corrupted, leading your computer to be unable to read the files it needs, leading to the mscam32.dll & other dll errors you might see. To fix this, it’s recommended you use a ‘registry cleaner’ to scan through your PC and fix any of the damaged or corrupted settings that are inside it.

Easy Way to Fix Ntdll.Dll Errors – Ntdll.Dll Error Slution

How to fix ntdll.dll errors

What is a ntdll.dll error?
The NTDLL file is one of the many registry file that your computer needs in order to run different types of applications. The DLL extention means “direct library link”, meaning that it is a file being shared by more than one application.

What causes errors
Typically, you may have removed the file – by mistake or during a manual registry cleanup (which is not always the smartest thing to do). It’s also possible that you have picked a PC bug that goes in your registry and delete (or modifies) a few files from time to time.

In both cases, the PC finds itself without a NTDLL file every time it needs it to run an application.

The error you get:
Typically the dll error will look something like this:
STOP: C0000221 Unknown Hard Error SystemRootSystem32ntdll.dll STOP: C0000221 unknown hard error PathFile_name STOP: 0xC0000221 unknown hard errorC:WinntSystem32Ntdll.dll (or another specific file or driverSTOP: 0xC0000221 STATUS_IMAGE_CHECKSUM_MISMATCHPathFile_name

These stop errors, as they are often called, simply mean that your computer stops working in order to avoid possible damage. In the case of NTDLL errors, as I mentioned earlier, it’s either that registry file that’s missing, or something has happened that corrupted it.

And what do you do to resolve the error
There are a number of things one can do to solve the issue. Remember that the error is caused by the fact that the file is either missing or damaged. To cut a long story short, you need to replace the dll file.
Most registry cleaners (more about registry cleaners below), during the clean-up may detect that the file is missing and replace it with a new one.You can easily go out and download a brand new dll file. But careful! Because this is a registry key, you don’t want to download a copy from an unreliable source. The one thing that often happens is that, the folks who give you the free replacement, send in the package a few other registry entries of their own. I once had to download a registry replacement file. My PC was working just fine after the operation, except that everytime I would start the computer, I would automatically be directed to the homepage of the guys who provided me with the registry key.
How do you protect yourself
Here are a few general precautions to take in order to avoid ntdll dll errors and similar computer issues.
Go out and get yourself a decent anti-virus. Even if you have succesfully replaced the missing registry file, if the real problem still exists, you may find yourself with a ntdll issue sooner or late down the line. Regularly run a registry cleaner and avoid downloading unreliable software.

Naturally these are general safety precautions but they are also efficient when it comes to fixing ntdll dll and other registry errors.

What to Do When You Encounter Blue Screen and DLL Errors ?

Monday, May 24th, 2010

Windows blue screens are actually error message display on Windows operating systems. These are colloquially referred to as the – Windows blue screens of death – because the error that the screen displays is usually a fatal system error, which requires a complete overhaul of the software. Windows blue screens can be caused by several problems, including data error from abrupt power loss, an illegal operation happening on the computer (such as those performed by viruses), or DLL errors, which are most common of all. Blue screens happen only in the rarest of situations, but when it does, it has to be treated seriously even if the computer restarts after the blue screen. Not getting the computer inspected can lead to more serious problems in the future.

DLL Errors

DLL, or downloadable link libraries, contain shared information that allow several systems or tasks to function in the computer. When these DLL files are moved, removed, or accidentally altered, a DLL error message is displayed, or the computer may even fail to boot properly. Common causes of DLL errors are:

Deleting of a shared DLL file when a program is un-installed.Overwriting of existing DLL file from updated drivers.Hardware concerns, such as low disk space, low ram, or BIOS settings.System problems on everything from system registry to documents to hive files.Software defect due to pirated copy, viruses, etc.

When un-installing a program, make sure to include – do not delete shared DLL files – in the settings. Update hardware with higher memory and RAM capabilities. Download a secure and through antivirus program. A registry cleaner that will run up a startup can automatically detect DLL errors and other things so that these will be fixed even before the problem starts.

Even the most advanced computer users can feel anxiety and stress when he gets to encounter any of the blue screens or DLL error messages. It’s a good idea to always have a separate hard drive where personal files can be stored. That way, these files will not be deleted once the system really needs to be reinstalled.
